Caregivers are remarkable people, whether they give care in a nursing home or in someone's home. Everyone can't do this work, but thank goodness there are people like the writers in this book who work day after day, giving beautiful, compassionate care to those who need it most. Their work is hidden to much of the world, but their stories deserve to be told. Reading these stories puts a smile on my face. Thanks to all the writers who took the time to tell their stories. Many of the writers chose to tell about their lives as caregivers. Others chose to write about other sides to themselves, to give us insight into their lives.
