It incudes a translation of the biblical text, an introduction to the Bible, and comments on the books of Genesis through Ruth. The comments include both exegesis and practical application. It is practical and scholarly but not highly technical. References to the original languages are transliterated into English to make it accessible to those who do not know Hebrew, Greek, or Aramaic. Charisma Commentary is suitable for Bible college survey classes, preachers, and lay Bible students. Two volumes that cover the New Testament are already available (1,100 + pages). Comments are planned on the remainder of the Old Testament.
