Author Biography
Dan Hurst's passion is to teach the practical, applicable truths of the Bible. His writings include a book titled "Teacher, Teach!" about principles for growing a Bible study class. His second book, "Broken Dreams, Shattered Lives," is a practical guide from a Biblical perspective on what to do when life falls apart. His third book is "Yes! Success!" That book is about using Biblical principles for developing personal success. Dan and his wife, Marcia, live in the Kansas City area. He currently teaches The Open Class, a class he started at First Baptist Church of Raytown, Missouri. The class has several hundred members. Although his conference speaking and teaching keep him busy, he finds time to date his wife, pester his children, spoil his perfect grandchildren, ruin some golf courses and cheer on losing sports teams.
